Do you do jewelry or gem appraisals?
Yes, we can perform appraisals for personal or insurance purposes.
What materials do you work with?
G.V. Jewelry works with fine jewelry in silver, gold, or platinum, and purchases conflict-free materials. We use recycled gold, which does not promote new mining. We use both lab-made and natural gemstones, which are hand-selected in-person by the G.V. team.
Do you buy jewelry?
We do not buy jewelry or materials. However, you may recycle these materials to create a new custom piece of jewelry.
Can I use heirloom/recycled materials?
Yes, using heirloom materials is a wonderful way to honor their legacy while creating something you or your recipient will be proud to wear. We are happy to inspect your materials and let you know what we are able to use.
What timeline should I expect for custom jewelry?
There are many factors that affect the timeline for creating a custom piece of jewelry, but in general you can expect the process to take two weeks to a month. Adding a buffer to your due date is always a great idea. Expedited service may be available in some circumstances, please contact us for more information. Learn more about our custom design process.
If you’re worried about time, you can also purchase G.V. rings that are already made from our online shop or in-person at our store.
Can I make an appointment?
Yes, we encourage it! Give us a call or send an email so we can set aside dedicated time for you.
Do you offer shipping?
Yes, priority, insured shipping is available for most items starting at $25.
Do you have payment options/financing?
Financing may be available, please contact us to discuss options.
Does my diamond need any special care?
Diamonds are remarkably durable, resist scratching (except by other diamonds) and maintain their brilliance over time. But diamonds aren’t indestructible. They can be chipped by a sharp blow, become loose or lost in a weakened setting, or be damaged by contact with other diamonds. Wear diamond jewelry with care. Store it in padded boxes or soft bags separate from other jewelry. Clean your jewelry by wiping it with a lint-free cloth or with warm water, mild soap and a soft toothbrush, or by dipping it briefly in a commercial cleaning solution. Have your diamond jewelry periodically cleaned and its setting examined by a professional jeweler to maintain its beauty and integrity over time. Do you offer warranties?
We take great pride in the quality of our work and it is highly unlikely you will have any problems. If any issues arise, please contact us to help. Our warranty covers the replacement of any small diamonds/gems (under .10 carat each) for up to two years from the date of sale. A warranty is not a replacement for insurance.
What is your return policy?
G.V. Jewelry’s personal approach guarantees the recipient will love their new jewelry, but if there are any dissatisfactions we are happy to talk over options with you.
Our custom pieces are created individually for you and are non-refundable. However, we are happy to provide you with store credit and work together to adjust and create what you had in mind. Our goal is your ultimate happiness and satisfaction, and we will do as much as possible to achieve it.
For any online purchases, new, non-damaged items may be returned within 30 days after delivery for a full refund. Please return in original packaging with your name and order number and request a tracking number for all returns. We would also love to know if the item didn’t meet your expectations.
If there is an error made on our part, we are happy to pay for return shipping costs. You may cancel an item that has not been shipped. Once an item has entered the shipping process, we are unfortunately unable to cancel, but you may return for a refund.
